1080p min settings and res scaled at 80%.
The game only runs at 60 fps when not much is going on and doesnt feel very smooth in general, and drops at 30-40 when looking through my portal, Also the tearing is huge with v-sync disabled..
The portals are definitely a major problem with the engine they used (Portal 1 n 2 used source) but i dont blame them, source = unfixable cheat problems.
Anyways they should raise the min system requirements, there is no way this is playable with a 560ti 1GB, a random dual core CPU and 6BG of ram lol, would be fine for a singleplayer or coop story game but not a fps
fullhd, 85 scale, mix of low-mid-high settings and i get more or less stable 140 fps on 1063 and 8700
It runs STABLE but it doesn't run fine? I don't follow?
My game is capped at 90fps because thats the manual cap I put on it. I haven't had dips or stutters, no lag, no frame drops, no screen tearing, etc. The game runs absoutely FINE for me.

i7 4770k
16gb ram
all settings on min
Have upgraded/downgraded drivers nothing working, sucks this game was actually fun
Never had any issue like this before
Correct, neither my GPU or CPU are peaking or bottlenecking still I am not able to get more fps which should be possible.
I am not having these issues in any other game either.
This is just poor optimisation.
Ryzen 7 2700x

130 avg fps
More of a server/ping issue for me
Rx 570
Ryzen 5 1400
I can run the game at 144fps but it doesn't feel smooth, like frametimes are noticeably inconsistent. And when I cap the game at 60 it just gets even more jittery.
And unlike the majority of people who say "im GeTtInG 60 fPS gUyS" I actually have a good eye for what smooth FPS does and doesn't look like. This ain't it chief.
I didn't even realize this was a problem but that's good to know, I'll make sure to turn them off.
It's called frame pacing. Basically the time interval between one frame and another. For ex. two games at 60fps can look totally different than one another if one of them is outputting frames all over the place while the other is outputting frames evenly every 1/60th of a second (16.67ms). I suspect the frame pacing for this game isn't all that great either.
I'm getting stuttering and freezes all over, unplayable for me...
