witch hunter

how is it? i played this game a long time ago with my brother and we are looking into it again. how is the witch hunter class? ive read a couple of comments mentioning hes rng with leftclick and some ppl said nothing but the mines did dmg while other said it would get nerfed cuz it was to good. so im asking here to get a better answer.

Not my favorite class, seems to work best with an attack build instead of skill.

Dont be expecting speed runs out of the character as its whole kit just isnt set up for fast kills or crowd control, more single target damage.

The class title is Absolutely Amazing though, if theres one reason to level a witch hunter its because of the class title. Its basically required if you want to push higher level NG.

As a fellow newb (level 12 Witch Hunter is my first and only character so far) I'm underwhelmed. Their M1 does good damage and can clear crowds sufficiently upgraded and their Bonfire is absolutely amazing. However, they have no self-healing, no defensive or evasive skills, and the obscene mana cost on Bonfire severely hampers your playability. Traps in particular are the bane of my existence because I'm often literally not fast enough to get past them.
