Been a long time that I played the game.
The imp isnt necessarily on the discovered part of the map, right?

Imp doesn't have a icon on the minimap. I also pleasant surprise to see vigge in the forum's 😁

Which means? What's an Imp and where is it?

IMO, they normally spawn where you have already explored, but not always. I would suggest dashing everywhere you expored, and if not there, I think they pop up somewhere near there... so focus exploring new areas connected to areas you explored IMO.

Usually where you've been, but sometimes where you were headed. If you hear the imp music loudly, he's close. If you don't hear the music, he popped out near someone else (in a multiplayer game)
