Beat NG1 but cannot open NG2?

Do i have to beat all bosses without skipping?
I cant progress to NG2 and i didnt get the guild title either.
It was in multiplayer in case this matters.

what was your personal highest ng level before the run started?
if it was 0, even if you beat ng1 in multiplayer, your personal highest will only increase by 1, so your character would now be in ng1.

so you can't have a ng2 character as your highest, and join a ng200 lobby, beat it and suddenly be ng200. you'd just be your highest ng level out of all your classes +1.

otherwise, i dunno, you might need to select ng2 at the dude in front of the entrance to the mines. and for the class title, it'd be 7 i think.

What do you mean "personal highest NG"?
You mean solo?

I myself opened the lobby and picked NG1 at the guy before entrance, it was my own city.
I honestly am confused how it works.

We skipped the first 2 bosses but then progressed normally through the floors and eventually killed the dragon.

Actually, this is already the second time I beat NG1 and didnt get either the title nor the progression to NG2.

There must be something Im missing...

EDIT: The wiki says (the picture on the page you linked) the NG level I beat has to be higher than what my city has unlocked in order for me to progress +1. So does that mean if my city has NG+1 I have to beat NG+2 to progress? This is even more confusing. How did anyone get past NG+1 then when the game released?

That's just akward wording on the wiki I think. As, for example, if you'd never beaten ng10, you'd still be able to select ng10 at the npc, as that's you're current highest unbeaten.

If you press G in game what number and bonus does the character have underneath it.

If you have discord https/discord.gg/Hammerwatch it'll be a lot easier to show screenshots and there are more people who can help

My main is the warlock. My guild title on it is 6. Diabolist. So that's at least NG0 ive beaten. As I said I finished NG1 already twice but didnt get the title neither the progression to NG2.
Is it a bug, or am i doing something wrong?

Maybe I cannot skip the bosses?

it's just the final boss that matters,
if everything is as you say then it sounds a bit odd. I'd probably need to take a look at your save to get a better idea what's going on.

you've got the right idea for everything, it doesn't sound like you're doing anything wrong, but it's hard to get a full picture of things over just this.
