question about the mage in the armory

if you grab the ring in the hidden room but die before talking to him does it bug the game?
iv reached the armory a hand full of times and have not be able to find him again.
(i died to a great threat swarm after i grabbed the ring but before i could talk to the mage it was my first time reaching that level i wanted to make sure it was safe before talking to him)

but i did not unlock the class or the shop will he re apear later is what im really worried about?

Doubtful. I have no 100% facts as informations, but it seems like when you encountered him, the game saves that encounter indefinitely, until you get the Magic Shop and unlock the Wizard.

I believe you are screwed forever. You had the encounter and thats it. Why do you want to encounter him again anyway?

i did not talk to him so the magic shop was not opened

You have to unlock the magic shop, my dude. I believe you have to get your city to tier 3 first before the unlock of the magic shop gets available. Its the same as with the tavern and the chruch for the thief and the priest.

Just unlock the magic shop and you should automatically unlock the wizard, since you encountered its trigger already.

the upgrade icon is still a ? and cant be clicked my TH is lv 5 currently
iv done a lot of grinding trying to find his room again for the ring and to talk to him

Oh, interesting. Then you certainly didnt trigger it then.

Well, then you may have to wait until NG+, unless you are leveling the other heroes too. I myself have not reached NG+ yet, but have two heroes on lvl 20, one on lvl 10 and the rest between lvl 3-6. Its not like i didnt want to reach NG+, but even with the lvl 20 heroes, i was just able to reach the Vampire Lord, which isnt even the last boss. So ressource farming became the name of the game and that can be started at act 3, since you can get around 10.000 gold + around 20-30 Ore for the whole act when using specific drinks.

Have you found the Magic Anvil in act 3 already?

i just found it 2 days ago right before i stopped for the day iv only found like 2 blueprints so far

Well, the anvil doesnt become useful until at least NG+2 anyway, so there is more than neough time to get the recipes. But it thought it may be another motivatior for you to farm act 3.

i have to get past the armory boss first i just met ...them for the first time today also im about tot go to sleep so it will be a bit before you hear from me again but thank you for the advise and tips
