Skill Damage

Does skill damage count towards your primary attack? asking for a wizard friend.

The way I've read it time and again in other topics your primary attack and skills have completly different scaling aside from some skill mechanics like for instance for a wizard your primary can apply the DoT skill but the DoT is affected by skill damage. It could be more clear tbh, but I dont think skill damage will affect the wizards fireball primary other than instances like that.

Attack power will increase the damage of his primary attack but skill damage will boost the damage of combustion and scorched earth.
