Havn't tried DirectX mode, What about the specs do you want to know, i have seen top of the line pcs having the same issue, it might be down to brand or cores used instead of the capablities of the pc. I might have found the issue though, I noticed the public/private network permissions from windows defender never popped up when i started the game the first time, so i manually had to change those settings to only allow private networks. Waiting to see if its a multiplayer or single player issues since i didn't get in single player yet.
I'd say the frame drop is less than 1% of my overall game play and does not affect my enjoyment although I won't pretend it isn't there. If you have a million enemies on the screen you sorta deserve it, but if its happening to you under normal circumstances I'd look to other solutions. I can say a top end PC doesn't really have any issues.
yea its not happening when it the computer is under load like u described, its literally happening at random during normal gameplay. Hell i was in a menue in town and it started.
