Most runs I get 1-2, a decent bit of runs I get 0 and I've had one lucky run where I got 5.
Remember you don't have to kill every enemy so just go past what you can and only kill what you need to, as knife said old map helps a bunch as you can go only where you need to but I would not say you have to cheat to get blueprints so I definitely don't agree with that being the only way.
Sadly we are not really meant to be grinding for them, since the game is balanced around being designed this way since the beginning and new players playing now will naturally get blueprints as they progress. The only reason we have to do some farming is because we have progressed on the old system and obviously have no blueprints to start out now, so all we can do is do a bunch of runs to catch up a bit.
One thing I've found helps though is playing through with friends who are in normal game, ng+1 or ng+2 to have fun with a friend to make it feel different from just trying to get blueprints, helps make the process feel less grindy.
We then race down the levels as fast as we can stopping just before the 2nd boss. Doing this method we have accumulated most of the patterns in just a few hours. I think I am sitting at 60/91 patterns. This is also a good way to get all of your drinks.
Our group is runs +5 and +6 regularly and we hardly ever get any patterns, and in theory when we do harder content we should have better chances to get patterns but unfortunately that is not the case as it doesn't seem to scale past +2.
My advice is to just get it out of the way early - otherwise it is frustrating to wait so long while trying to push harder content and really wishing you had a bunch of attuned blueprints.
Anyone know what he means by save scamming?
I wondered the same thing. I couldn't find any explanation but I figured one way to "save scam".
The following steps might tempt you to cheat (you save a lot of time and some money compared to doing it normally), so if you don't want that, don't read the spoiler.
note: I also disabled steam sync for HoH, but I don't know if it matters.
I havent found all of them yet but havent found any basic ones in ng+1
By basic you mean blueprints for white items? if so then yes, I've found blueprints for white items in both +1 and +2.

You can save once per floor
Reach floor exit. Exit the game (save). Archive your save folder. Enter the game. Go next floor check with old map. No blueprint. Unpack save. Enter the game. Enter next floor again. Repeat until blueprint. Profit. Take blueprint go to the exit. Save...Same can be done for roll item in a chest then solo. But without archive.
2 things:
1. There's a typo, it's not save scamming, it's save scumming. (look it up to make sure)
2. Save scumming basically means that you can save at a specific moment (like before opening a chest for example), do an action (like open a chest), and if you don't like the result, reload and repeat until you have the desired outcome. It's considered cheating in some communities. Me? as long as it's singleplayer or coop, I don't care.
