So what's the point of the fountain?
All I ever get is bad stuff or no changes at all to my games. I throw in ton of coin and still have unreachable chests everywhere, buttons getting stuck all the time. And giving me increased health gain from food(wow, how utterly useless. Totally worth the coins). What's the point? Pisses me right off how useless that fountain is.

Is there an option to raze and scorch the earth it stood on? If not there should be.

Never seen the fountian give something that offsets the huge goldsink it becomes, same with the gambling and any ore trading until your towns maxed out.

Ugh. There's just so many things just wasting your time in this game. I gotta take a break.

> When having a "bad" or "horrible" prediction :

- Enemies are stronger and tankier
- Upper rank of a certain type of enemy is more common (e.g : red archers spawning more than green archers)
- Health and mana pickups give less health/mana
- Swarms are bigger
- buffers are much more common (I had to fight 4 grey buffer in a single swarm once)
- (cave's entrance and prison) : traps are more common
- (Prison) : button doesn't spawn/doesn't work
- (armory) : statues are stronger
- bosses are stronger and with more HPs

> When having a "good" or "great" prediction :

- Enemies are weaker and less bulky
- health and mana pickup heal/refill more (mana)
- swarms are apparently much more scattered around the floor
- bosses are weaker
- (cave's entrance) : give access to some secrets
- (cave's entrance) : simplify some paths that give a chest
- (armory) : gives access to some secrets
- (armory) : statues are weaker

there you go

So basicly it's a beginners trap to have you waste your money and increasing the grind further. Got ya.
100% money sink ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. They need to change the gambling and the fountian so they're even remotely worth using.
The near total lack of explanation of what is going to happen or how the card game actually works makes the whole thing kinda dumb.
(Mind you i get card game is high low, but i've lost to an 6 with a 8 because of the suit?)

Haha no kiddin. "Something happened" is real useful knowledge when throwing in coins. Don't know why it has to be cryptic about it. And the gambling I've only tried like twice because I had 200 coins left over. Don't understand the point of it other than it's there to waste more of your time like everything else.

I think the fountain can help out your run in a major way. I'd buy extra keys if I get good luck but I'd save on my purchases if I had bad luck. I enjoy the gameplay feature of the fountain but not as much with the gambling

The issue I have is the fountain isnt fun when something bad happens and it ends up being something that destroys your run like all the buttons on chapter 2 breaking, thats can be a ton of items inacessable.

Where as if something bad happens spams me with more enemies, I can at least be greatful for the extra exp.

Alernativly I sware once something good happened and I was overloaded with keys being everywhere and minimal chests to even open which also ruined the run and fustrated me.

I love the game but the fountain just isnt a fun feature for me.

If bottoms stick for me I skip the zone just so I'm not angry lol

I'm not a fan of the fountain but at the same time I don't find it bad as it's like everything else it's random

In one run I had great luck and ended up with three red keys which got me 2 legendary items as well as the 5 piece Kings set. Needless to say my lock was unkillable lol

One outcome I got from "bad luck (or horrible, can't remember which exactly)" was that the floors were larger/had a lot more rooms. Besides it taking long to complete, it did make the run itself better due to all the extra items that were gained. In a way that outcome felt like it was good luck.

It's a money sink, but it's also handy to throw away those few hundred bits of gold you have left over to get a bonus or so.

I mean if you get the pathways to those normally unreachable chests, it basically pays for itself.
