makes it feel like a bit of a waste of time seeing as those are the only things I really care about to progress.
What I did was use other characters. Did you know that each class provides a small bonus to all your characters based on what tier of boss they have beaten? Level other characters, get their bonuses. All characters will be better and you wont have that stuck feeling.
Don't ask for it to go faster. Slow down and enjoy the journey.
If you don't feel you are on a journey because you are too goal-oriented, then you need to change your position on playing in general.
Play the game for what it is. Just play around.
Progress will come; don't make it the focus.
What's the point of guild lvl btw?
^this
Thanks! That would explain why I've got so much stars suddenly and my taxes went suddenly through the roof during a run.
Anyway, RNG is making miracles in this game some time: I usually find from 3 to 12 Ore in Mines within the party of two and from 5 to 14 with the party of three, so, from my personal experience, it's a chanceplay as well.
Anyway, there is a plenty of Ore on the Casttle leve. You should really try it
please stop asking for the game to be easier
There is 7 classes and NG+ modes, game will not end when you have fully upgraded town.
