Report a translation problem
The hardest I can think of are the cracks in act III as well as some of the buttons in act II. The bookshelf holes in act III becomes quite noticeable at some point. Act IV becomes bloody obvious after a while. There's only two patterns to notice, the blue painting with the hole in it (all blue paintings have had the hole in, and I've never seen a painting that wasn't blue that could be broken). And the bookshelf pattern is always the same.

you only need to memorize 2 patterns per act (one for eyes, one for cracks)
you will get used to it
also there can be no eyes/cracks on one floor but sometimes there are several (most i saw where 2 cracks and 1 eyes)
