Make statues player-specific
I love the statue feature that was implemented with the PoP expansion, however, it is incredibly frustrating in multiplayer. One player might be melee and attack based while the other might be a skill based caster. Thus, we're going to want completely different statue setups.

So when I'm teaming up with a friend, there are only two choices; Either one of us plays optimally, or none of us do. Period. And that isn't particularly fun.

Please make statue choices personal. It is bad design to force all players in a game to use the host's statues. Heck, even collecting the statue blueprints becomes pointless to me because I rarely host games anyway.

This needs changing.

I agree, was thinking of this a few days ago. I guess the game show allows us to either use the statues of the host (which might be benefitial if you don't own the DLC, or has low level statues), or allow us to use our own statues by choice, it would make it perfect.

I actually wish that the statues were character specific! So I can have a different setup for each of my characters and it would automatically switch when I switched characters. (but yes.. in multiplayer, each player should get their own, too)

Oh I thought they actually were character-specific already. Yes, that would absolutely make the most sense because there's no reason to have the same statues for all of your characters.

I'd like to remind the devs about this. Please make statues character-speific. Being forced to use the same statues as the host in multiplayer is incredibly frustrating since different classes and different builds etc. require different statue setups.

or it would be cool to have space to build more statues - like all possible statues. Am I correct in thinking that there is only space for three?

If having all statues active would make the game too 'easy', then maybe the characters could be given the option to 'activate' 3 specific statues before the run.

Just a thought...such a great game!

But that's already how it works. You can switch the statues at any time and they will keep their upgrades.

The whole issue is when playing multiplayer only the host's statues count, and that sucks so bad since you usually want to use different statues. I.e. one player might want that combo AE exploson while another player might not even use combo at all. One player might rely on abilities and shorter cooldowns while the other might rely on primary attacks.

I hate the fact that I can't use my own personal statue build when playing multiplayer. Somebody always has to play a gimped version of their builds because it's really rare that everyone wants the same statues.

In that case, allowing all statues to be built and allowing players in multiplayer to activate the ones that they need might work, or something like that...

I don't want to run a magic user with a set of attack based statues just because the host uses them.

Honestly this would be a great addition. If anyone is worried about someone having overpowered statues maybe it could be linked with the scaling option so that the levels are not higher than the host.

I disagree. I like the idea of all my heroes working from the same town. If this gets implemented, I'd like to see it done like how ktulu1975 suggested. Let us build all the statues and then have to choose to activate 3. It's not like there isn't enough room down their for more statues!
