They're movies or motion comics. They aren;t games and your choices don't matter. They're like Visual Novels... except uhh.. in VNs your choices usually matter.
There are many scenes in Telltale games which change entirely based on your choices. What you say is simply not true

You can save secondary characters like prince but they will not impact story apart from few lines of dialogue. And thats it, All other choices grant you slightly altered scene leading to same result.
