I heard in that game, the devs actually researched and implemented historic bus routes for the entirety of the English map. I'd love to try it. Sadly, I'm pretty terrible at flight-sims so Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover is a no-go, and I have to make do with this and Wings of Prey which are a good middle ground between boring arcade and full on simulation.
You can still get it on Ebay and it doesn't require a very meaty computer to run well:

And then download all the updates for it v2.13 being the latest patch made in 2016:

It's still a great game, very enjoyable even just playing a Heinkel gunner lol, and runs on modern computers with Win 10 just fine, although I haven't played it for a few years. Might give it another go myself.
The only games that recreate England anywhere near as good since are CoD and then the recent MS Flight Sim 2020. So that shows how good this old game really was. Such as shame these old developers like Rowan, DiD, Microprose and DI went bust they used to make great sim games.
A Game of that Type is the Red-Baron Row from WW I too.
The Devs from 303 Squadron: Battle of Britain have implemented more things. Side Missions in the Base, a Storyline, Conversations with your Comrades with historical Facts and so on.
Yes, there you a lighter Simulation / Cockpit Flights then in other Flight Sims. But that dosen´t matter.
The Main Importance for that Game is the historical announcement from the Pilots which saved Britain.
