Doesnt look like England
That is my only concern with this game - that the pics dont look anything like southern England. I am just wondering if any of the devs have been there or flown over in a real plane or in even in CoD or FSX etc because the ground just looks dark and drab and pine-foresty almost as if its Sweden or something! It certainly doesnt look like Britain.

Thank you for your opinion we will still work on that aspect of the game.

Didnt want to comea cross too harshly - I do like to encourage any devs making flight sims these days. Maybe you could do a EF2000 remake or a Tornado remake instead or maybe a new F35 game? I do think WW2 and espeically BoB has been done to death - and there is no way anyone can beat Rowans Battle of Britain/Wings of Valour game - that to me IS the Battle of Britain and no-one else has come close to representing it better.

I heard in that game, the devs actually researched and implemented historic bus routes for the entirety of the English map. I'd love to try it. Sadly, I'm pretty terrible at flight-sims so Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover is a no-go, and I have to make do with this and Wings of Prey which are a good middle ground between boring arcade and full on simulation.

Rowans BoB (now called BoB II : Wings of Valour) is fairly easy to play its not like CoD at all which is far more complex. But also Rowans game models the strategy of the BoB as well so its really good fun. Its the only game where you can really feel you are taking part in a true BoB dogfight with hundreds of planes flying around including many flights of bombers etc. It's unbelievably immersive.

You can still get it on Ebay and it doesn't require a very meaty computer to run well:

And then download all the updates for it v2.13 being the latest patch made in 2016:

It's still a great game, very enjoyable even just playing a Heinkel gunner lol, and runs on modern computers with Win 10 just fine, although I haven't played it for a few years. Might give it another go myself.

The only games that recreate England anywhere near as good since are CoD and then the recent MS Flight Sim 2020. So that shows how good this old game really was. Such as shame these old developers like Rowan, DiD, Microprose and DI went bust they used to make great sim games.

I tried BoB and yes it still plays on my Ryzen 7 Win 10 computer although it crashed after five minutes. It's a bit of a flakey game but great fun still especially defending the German bombers from the Hurricanes in the historical quick missions :-)

Such Games you both telling are nice to play and sometimes more than 08/15-Simulations with some Newspapers and if you get lucky some Conversations etc.

A Game of that Type is the Red-Baron Row from WW I too.

The Devs from 303 Squadron: Battle of Britain have implemented more things. Side Missions in the Base, a Storyline, Conversations with your Comrades with historical Facts and so on.

Yes, there you a lighter Simulation / Cockpit Flights then in other Flight Sims. But that dosen´t matter.

The Main Importance for that Game is the historical announcement from the Pilots which saved Britain.
