Difficulty selection?

I am more of a casual player these days and I was wondering if there is a way to select difficulty?

I'll say this, don't be too put off with the difficulty. I SUCK majorly at micro management and honestly, normal difficulty is fine, it all depends on the leader you have. I am super bad with the Sage leader, the others though, they play much differently and are fairly easier because of this. I wont say what leaders they are cos spoilers and all but if you are interested I strongly recommend at least testing this game out, especially if it goes on sale.
