We have now released the Secret Weapons update, with new characters, dungeon, and boss fight! Woo! But it has some new bugs!

Our latest fixes in version 1.3.7290, from September 26 2022:

• The final boss fight now has a new, fully-voiced conversation between your weapon and the antagonist, before the final phase.
  
• All shops should now always function in all languages, finally allowing non-English speakers to collect all outfits.
  
• Hammer’s final date will now make much more sense in German and Portuguese.
  
• Jonah, Leah, and Rowan’s birthday gifts will now all show in the apartment.
  
• Various small fixes to dialogue and localization

Known issues that we are unlikely to address, due to risk/complexity of the change required:

• Sometimes if you leave one of Eric's text messages unread midway through a conversation, you cannot progress the game (You're supposed to be able to ignore him completely and ghost him after meeting him -- ideally, never read any of his messages, if you want to avoid him)
  
• Bug princess zine can result in player getting stuck if surrounded by too many bug pals
  
• Sometimes the text of a recipe can disappear/be cut off. If this happens, quit to main menu and return.

The thing about the not reading Eric's msg not being able to advance your game was so annoying to me!

This happened to me on my very first playthrough of the game. I ignored one of his messages early on and never went to visit him at his store.

BUT, I was still able to play in dungeons and max out every character... I just thought it was a grinding dating sim at that point.

People were referencing events that never happened throughout the dates, and it left me confused but I just let it slide. Then after I maxed out everyone, Eric messages me out of the blue...

about my birthday that happened several in-game hours before, about watching me & the girl go out, and as I clicked through the messages, story events/scenes that should have happened before just started playing in quick succession. I was SO confused about everything! And I had to go and visit his store, go on story-related dates that were REALLY out of order, and everything else that should have happened several hours ago over the course of the game. I was shook.

That bug was a really tragic one because I was able to play through the entire game without knowing anything relevant about the story.

Can we get a fix for Xbox Game Pass version's black screen issue when clicking on controller mapping icon?

I am using Xbox Game Pass for PC with Xbox controller. It goes black screen but the sound effects are still working when you click on the controller mapping icon. Multiple other users on Xbox Game Pass are facing the same issue.

Thanks for letting us know. We've found a fix for this issue and will be updating the game by the latest when the DLC comes out. Sorry this has been an issue for so long.

I’m playing on Steam Deck and none of the video animations (of weapon transformations) are working. I’m left with a screen with the character standing in front of me, but the audio for the transformations is playing. Eventually the character turns into their sword self or regular self, but I have to sit there and wait through the sounds of the animation first. I had started a new game for the new characters, and I don’t want to not see their first transformation. ;-;

Game doesn't show correct love rank addition. Instead of "+ whatever you gained" it shows "+ whatever you have in total"

Steam Deck user here. This issue (exactly as described above) happened to me too with the black screen during movies.

Otherwise, the Steam Deck experience was perfect.

Encountered today: the first new beach date with axe freezes on the third text box ("Just wanted them to know they weren't alone") after you respond "harsh"

I tried a different response and it also froze, and as it auto saved at the start of the date that save file is kind of bricked as I cant pass that chunk of dialog.
Im running the game on Mac.

Steam Deck user: transformation animation do not play when meeting new weapons, and the Gameboy in the appartment force me to close the game if I launch the racing minigame(black screen and sound but no way to back out). (the minigame played fine on my pc)

Steam Deck user: The game locks up and crashes after going to the beach with Jesse and just after his dialog saying that everyone is there to say bye . I didn't see anyone else post that issue, so I don't know if that's a known issue yet.

As an aside, apparently achievements on Mac don't always work for some people. I am getting them, personally.

Would be fun to play the minigame on OSX! Rooting for you all to fix it. maybe if the steam cloud saves are crossplatform I'll be able to do it that way but I don't have access to my Windows machine for a little while due to traveling.

Fun game, thanks! Very accommodating design story-wise imo, digging all the genders

I'm having the same problem with Flutterbug Road just presenting a black screen, on an Intel Mac with OSX 12.5.1. Hopefully there's a fix! Loving the game otherwise and it's a pain to be missing just the one minigame (and the one achievement).
