We have now released the Secret Weapons update, with new characters, dungeon, and boss fight! Woo! But it has some new bugs!

Our latest fixes in version 1.3.7290, from September 26 2022:

• The final boss fight now has a new, fully-voiced conversation between your weapon and the antagonist, before the final phase.
  
• All shops should now always function in all languages, finally allowing non-English speakers to collect all outfits.
  
• Hammer’s final date will now make much more sense in German and Portuguese.
  
• Jonah, Leah, and Rowan’s birthday gifts will now all show in the apartment.
  
• Various small fixes to dialogue and localization

Known issues that we are unlikely to address, due to risk/complexity of the change required:

• Sometimes if you leave one of Eric's text messages unread midway through a conversation, you cannot progress the game (You're supposed to be able to ignore him completely and ghost him after meeting him -- ideally, never read any of his messages, if you want to avoid him)
  
• Bug princess zine can result in player getting stuck if surrounded by too many bug pals
  
• Sometimes the text of a recipe can disappear/be cut off. If this happens, quit to main menu and return.

Also, not sure if this is a bug or intended but Rowan's Gravity Wells will kill your Bug allies and, possibly, the turrets too. I figure they should be immune to that damage.

Another Bug: If you close the game without answering texts (it happend with the texts after the two heart event for me) or during an appartment event ( the birthday one in my case ) then you can't see them anymore. For the texts, the weapons acted as if I ignored them and went dunjeoning, and it skipped the birthday event for me.
Also a personal annoyance: a warning when the game is just gonna bring me to a date if I say yes to a text would be appreciated tbh, since most other events just let me join them whenever I want to via the map.

Was unaware there was a patch. Was able to play the game when I bought it on the 12th, but as of yesterday I have been unable to launch it.

In case anyone wanted to grind out the levels to hit the level cap, don't! The game breaks if you get enough exp to hit level 51. You'll be sent to the overworld at 51 and if you reenter a dungeon you will be trapped and unable to leave.

Not sure if its happened to anyone else, but I've had a reoccuring crash on the cutscene after the final boss. The game seems aware that I beat it since it shows "completed" over the area but I assume the packing achievement is tied to something that happens after the cutscene which I can't get past.

Packing is for a minigame during the credits - you don't need to finish the game to get it as its an option in the main menu.

Relevant mostly to NoBoy speedrunners, but if you only date Valeria at the start you can't actually enter a dunj. Reloading a save fixes the issue thankfully

Having the same problem, the game won't progress past the screen where Jesse says the party is in my honor. Music is still going and I can move the cursor, but not progress.

Strange. It sounds like the cutscene itself is breaking on you for some reason, which we haven't seen. If it happens again in the future, can you please press shift+* to send a bug report to us and we can see what happened in the logs?

We also haven't seen any other reports of crashing on launch -- assuming you've tried verifying your cache and reinstalling, can you please report your OS and what you did in your save file, when you played last?

Hi. Idk where else to post this but I'm having problems with the recipes? The titles are glitched out so I can't read what I'm making. This happened after the nightmare sequence with Katana and I closed and reopened the game and it still was there.

[Bug] I can't shop at "Naked Steel" if "dates" (Eric & Jesse) are available there, as it auto-triggers Jesse's event.

If you're talking about seeing a pop-up that says "Unity - Boyfriend Dungeon 2019.[...]" I get that issue too but I found a workaround:
1. In Steam, right-click Boyfriend Dungeon > Manage > Browse local files
2. That should open up Boyfriend Dungeon in your steamapps > right click BoyfriendDungeon.exe and select Properties
3. Click the Compatibility tab > [Optional] Check Run as Administrator > Click Change high DPI settings
4. Check High DPI scaling override > Select Application in the drop down
5. Click OK then click Apply

I hope that works for you.
