Yes he's wierd, but so is everyone else you can romance. He's no wierder than a man who steps straight out of Mills and Boon. Or a older professional who likes his women young lol. EDIT: Or someone who *definitely* is not older than 15 who will get you arrested XD(dating Sawyer is definitely the wierdest one by the fact that they are too young).

Also he gets bonus points cause he shares the name with one of my favourite characters from Dragon Quest XI .

Another edit: I just wanted to add that I wish you could add more kindness to our protagonist. From the get-go you are forced to respond rudely to Eric, it would be nice if you could respond kindly and courteously and *if* he backstabs you after being kind, then he's an arsehole. However, you can't fault him if *we* start out as arseholes towards *him* from the very beginning.

Also, I was genuinely curious about his project that he spoke of when you first meet him, please let me inquire further about it ^^.

I don't know how far you are in the game but I think that Eric is written to be an undesirable character according to his actions / personality. I mean his microaggressions and backhanded insults certainly make me cringe. Most "average" women would find his condescending remarks offensive... also the other stuff he does in the game.

Sawyer's a college student hence of legal age.

Saying that dating Sawyer is the weirdest one shows that at the time of writing you clearly haven't finished the game.
Regardless, "dating" Eric would more or less come down to Eric worshiping the idea of you. I highly doubt that it'd be an actually engaging plotline, and while it might be interesting to explore, it wouldn't be desirable for most players, as more often than not the player's dialogue choices wouldn't make a difference.

Just because the writing forces you to dislike Eric doesn't mean you have to. From the first instance of the game the writing forces you to dislike Eric. The writing didn't even allow me to answer kindly to his messages.

Also, there are plenty of kids who skip high school and go straight to University in anime stories. Chobits being one of them with a child genius who doesn't need to go to school cause he's finished it all at level 10 years of age lol.

There's a specific line of dialogue, I believe in the second dungeon, where Sawyer mentions being a year away from the legal drinking age. And right from the start, your cousin mentions Verona Beach is in California. So Sawyer is definitely 20 and not some kind of child genius. Sawyer is the youngest of the romance options, but they're definitely still an adult.

As a side note, I think the Sawyer issue is more because they are smaller and have softer features but dress in a masculine way, which comes off as boyish. It's a problem not uncommon in young trans men and transmasculine people that have not taken hormone therapy.

If you take the time to play the game and pay attention there is a chance in the Dunj to ask Sawyer how old they are and they literally tell you 20.

Can confirm. But I think you can ask that later in the game as well.
But yeah, Sawyer looks just young. The only problem I have with this character is that I will always see them only as younger sibling. Not as dating material. (Perhaps I'm biased, because I have a younger sibling.)
