When we purchased the game, we accepted the terms that we were purchasing the game as it was at the time of purchase, with zero guarantees of anything else in terms of development. That is a fact, not an opinion. Another fact is, we don't have full rights to a refund outside of Steam's 2hr/14 days refund policy.
In my opinion, anyone that doesn't want to take responsibility for their own actions of purchasing a Early Access title, should not buy games launched under that program.
over 20 hours with the Beta and its awful.
MW2019 is miles better.
- Movement in MW2 is slow
- Weapon Recoil and Visual Recoil are insane
- Controller with Aim Assist gives you too much advantage, practically eliminates vertical and visual recoil. Especially when particles, dust smoke and sparks are constantly in your face. Controller players can beam you even when they cant actually see you.
- The maps on the Beta are horrible, full of safe spaces and either have to much clutter like the Hotel map or Open wasted space like the museum map.
- The new Gunsmith is horrible, you have to level all of the variants just to get a basic red dot sight. Its cluttered and personally think it takes away the Unique customisation you got with MW2019. I loved the unique attachments in MW2019, you could create specific weapons by swapping out the ammo type and other parts.
- The TTK is slower then MW2019 but it feels faster due to the lag comp, I get 1st shot on a player and put 3-5 rounds into them before they start shooting but i get insta melted. Its like all their bullets hit at once due to packet burst.
- Bullet penetration is janky, ive seen so many players hit you through materials that shouldn't be penetrated or multiple walls. Its weird. Thin materials makes sense but not 2 solid walls, or concrete bollards or steel.
- The spawns are worse then MW2019, you will spawn on your team mates so flanking is next to impossible, a team mate will spawn on you when your trying to flank and it gets you killed. Or you will get spawned right into a enemy player with the sights already on you. Huge parts of the map go unused and the vertical lanes in the maps dont flow with these spawns, most games are horizontal. its strange.
- Again, no red dots when firing on the map. Ruins the flow.
- Game has so much visual clutter and the screen shake when you fire or get shot at is mad. Visibility is horrible,
Luckily i got a refund last night through steam, literally took 5 ins and they granted it to me.
MW2 has potential but with the design decisions and their track record i have very low exceptions.
Ive been playing alot of MW2019 and its just a better experience. No issues what so ever.
No inconsistency with TTK, Kills. When i get outplayed or out gunned i cant complain because the game is solid.
Anyway, good news. WW3 Open Beta. Yeah boi, we may finally get a population surge. The Gunplay in WW3 is amazing and nothing i have played recently can compare.
So in general, WW3 is different from COD and also, people have been kept calling it Battlefield killer not COD killer, just for you to know
