FIX THE DAMN RAM LEAK ISSUE!
I've got an 8gb ram system and win 10 pro. The game consumes around 7-7.2 gigs ram out of the total 8. Note this I've already applied the registry fixes posted by some dude who said to allocate max cpu power and ram priority but at this point playing even in the lowest setting up get around 110-112 fps for a second and drop down to zero the next, there seems a huge bottleneck in the resources required by the computer and the resources required by the game which is the amount of ram for instance. When Dev already know this and it's an evident issue why aren't they fixing this first? Forget about adding more content your priority should be making a game which actually works for everybody. Meh can't do anything else except not play and wait till the fix it :(

One of our top programmers got an idea and - at least from what I've seen - it seems to work like a charm. In other words running WW3 with 8 gigs of RAM won't be a problem anymore, it also loads way faster.

the game uses 11gb of 16gb on my setup, i think its just ram hungry and 8gb isnt enough for now

Yeah that's my concern man, a game like this should we'll fit within 8gb ram bracket. When I can play games like AC odyssey which for the record is a very process hungry game without breaking a sweat I should be able to play WW3 without any issues on even the highest settings but unfortunately that's not something which I can do at this point.

manual pagefile 16000-16000
Mavi Nov 28, 2018 @ 11:42pm
Been there done that manual page file 8000- 16000 since I've got an 8 gig system

Why don't you simply buy another 8 gigs ? I assume you're DDR4, you won't have any problem finding it, at every prices. And for your future it's gonna be better. 8 gigs is already too low today.

It eats 95% of my 16gb of ram. That is a memory leak.

Dunno, it eats only 8-9 of my 16gb. So I guess the symptoms are not the same for everyone...

Anyway, they are currently working on it, and they'll likely release a patch soon that will fix this.

Yeah it's true 8 gig will not suffice in future but my point being I'm not gonna buy something at this point for one particular game just because it isn't optimised. The point I'm trying to stress here is that Devs should've fixed the memory leak issue already if everybody in the community knows this happens all the time, if not then atleast Devs should acknowledge and work over it rather than providing patches which have no noticeable effect on the gameplay whatsoever.
A developer of this app has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

This is a fix. Developers, Shout this from the rooftops because this is a memory leak fix that actually works
