Infinite Loading Screen

So i just bought the game and have spent the entire time trying to just load into a game. Im playing on a alienware 17 R5.

Didnt freeze just sits at the loading screen when i try to join a game.

im having this issue to, it only stays in the first loading screen when i click on the game but
doesn't load. and when i look at my task manager its says program not responding anyone know how to fix that?

There are a number of things you can check. Verify the game files in Steam, as sometimes the download can be goofy and you'll get 4-9 files that are corrupt or didn't install correctly.

Try to repair or reinstall EAC, as sometimes it gets FUBAR for no reason.

You can check the MS Vis C++ installation. If you have the 2015 version installed, some were corrupt and should be replaced with the 2017 version. Uninstall 2015, restart the PC and install 2017, then restart again.

Not implying you did, but these UE4 fps games can hang if alt-tabbed during loading. Found that out myself when I was trying to load the game and tabbed to Spotify.

I'd check if you have a firewall, Windows Defender or AV blocking net access.

That's all I've got off the top of my head.

My game just hangs at the 'Authenticating' load screen. The game simply doesnt load to the menu. Program still responds and there is no other fault as far I can tell. Been doing this for months. Frustrated with this game cause I havent been able to play for ages.

take a phone make a vid and post link to it. i had long load very long but managed to work it out, cut some ♥♥♥♥♥ in task menager updated graphic card game mode turned on etc now can play tdm. but for war mode need better pc not laptop xd
