Not possible (without cheating). Tractor area is, for ever, 3x3.

This is because, by the dev logic, a larger tractor area would lead people to ask for more farming space, and the area is already about as big as consoles allow.

i saw a guy gathering my whole farm in oe go and I have all unlocked....

Searched but did not find what cheat he was using.

I'm unfamilar with the exact cheat for increasing the tractor harvest area.

Two glaring flaws of this game are that the save files are all local, which permits speed growth and other hacks (some ``hacks'' are simply editing a file, some involve a tool automatically editing those files) Worse, is that some of the CODE is local, in C#, so that people can change how the game works for them like the rendering distance, and, most likely, how big the tractor harvesting size is, etc.

I suspect that the data of how the game works is also local, based on a report of someone harvesting one Lettuce on someone's farm and gaining enough XP to get max player level. (Dunno, maybe the tractor size is just in a data file somewhere.)

Enjoy the game for what it is, but don't take it too seriously, because it is mostly all editable.

To be honest I don't see how the fact that some people cheat or edit their files affects you personally, there is nothing to take seriously, this is not a pvp farming system where you win because you harvested more tomatoes than your opponent.

If I am not mistaken devs also said they don't care about cheaters, if a cheater comes in your farm and bothers you just ban him, problem fixed.

Cheaters can affect people visiting on their farms. I gave a clear example.

I personally never saw examples like this and looks like to me cheats are running locally, there is, afaik, no way to influence the visitors experience. They can, and I experienced it, influence your farm as visitors, if they do have speed grow they will see plants growing fast in your farm too for example.

So unless you have a better example than a "report of someone harvesting a lettuce in someone's farm" I do rest my case.

My friend just had one of those cheaters on her farm: the **** harvested about half of all the crops with a single click obviously, half of the lovingly arranged event crops are gone with tthat single f**ing click.

Yes, it could have happend while she was afk as well, but at least they would have to put effort into it then. And you could stop them when you were on your farm.
Banning them after the fact does not help at all.

Yeah, guess we'll set the settings to no rights at all for guests from now on.

Maybe that *is* a reason for the devs to do something against cheaters.

Oh, and btw: how do you ban someone? I cannot find it?

Sorry someone gathered crops in your farm, in one click or otherwise this is free laborl, these crops this cheater gathered counted for your event as well.

If you want to plant crops just to decorate your farm you should indeed remove rights or blanket put your farm in private.

Provided the session hasn't been closed there should be a recent visitors button in the farm menu, you can ban from in there or your Guest Book if they happened to sign it. If they're still on the farm you can just click on their name over on the right of the farm menu and ban them that way instead.

Edit: You may wish to visit their Steam profile as well and also toss them on your Block List, I've found most of the trolls scream in your comment section or elsewhere if you leave them an avenue to whine once they've been punished lol

What I don't understand in all the descriptions is that cheaters visit other farms.

When I use cheats, I have everything my heart desires. For example, I increase the number of farm helpers with a term of one year, complete each event in 10 minutes, I have infinite fuel in the tractor, some trees are in planters and just for fun the Boostmeter only runs out in 24 hours.

Everything is there. So why should a cheater go to other farms?
mskitty Aug 5, 2020 @ 6:00pm
Perhaps the "cheater" wanted to do the farm owner a big favor by doing all of the labor for them in one little click, how awful...

"Lovingly arranged event crops" leads me to believe these were not current event crops, and you don't just get those back, you have to wait up to a year. I'm sorry for your friend's loss, ajfusch. I also recommend planters.

That is how I see it too. Cheaters have always been very helpful people. They are known for their creativity and flexibility. They often find solutions in seemingly hopeless cases.

Therefore I find the title "Cheater" rather inappropriate. They are real artists.

I helped a guy reset his level to 25, from 250, after he told me his level got boosted to max while visiting someone. Rest your case all you want. You don't have a case, you have a closed mind.
