and now you learned, git gud or go home

Norther journey said from this point onwards there will be no living spider, There was undead spiders....

At the Munich Conference, held on September 29, 1938, they agreed to allow Germany to annex the Sudetenland in exchange for Hitler's promise to respect Czechoslovakia's territorial integrity. However, Hitler did not keep his promise.

you can cheese the very first mission with a single tech priest using cloak sphere. dont attack anything and run around turning on the switches. after that you have to actually lvl up your squad big time before going further.

Hard when the game is lies about the differentlys
For the most part, ignore the "difficulty", it's wrong more often than it's right.

If a mission is too hard, load an earlier save and come back to it when you've gained a few levels or unlocked a good weapon. There's no way to say exactly how many levels you'll need because the weapons and equipment are semi-random, so one run may result in a couple super-powerful weapons early on, while another may give you trash-tier stuff instead. For the most part, getting buffs like "+2 damage to your next attack" stacked multiple times onto any weapon that can hit multiple targets tends to make for a huge increase in effectiveness.
