That is why i love Xenarite Axe.
The mechanics are inconsistent in a lot of areas - the Power Axes and Xenarite Axes each cost 1 CP to attack with them, but the Omnissian Axes don't... but none of them cost CP to make opportunity attacks. Also, the acid effect from Xenarite stuff doesn't stack, so even if you hit a target with an acid weapon, then an acid mechadendrite, and xen axe, then get an opportunity attack with a xen axe... the target only suffers 1 acid damage/turn even though it should have 4 stacks on it. Once you're maybe a third of the way through the game, the acid damage from Xenarite stuff is basically a non-factor because targets die too fast for the 1 point hits to matter. Most of the Xenarite weapons are actually overpriced in CP for this reason - 1 acid damage/turn isn't worth 1 CP except in the earliest missions.
and it Kill the tempo in combat.
You need to watch the "acid dmg effect" for 1 dmg...
is there any tweak or config file to quicken the effect/cut scene ?
Closest we have is hacking the save files, but that only changes resources, nothing else.
So at least there's a sorta-newgame+ option
