Losing a Tech-Priest on Permadeath
I get that permadeath is supposed to be harder - it's right there in the name - but losing a Tech-Priest on permadeath feels like GG. Since you get a fixed number through the game - and that number is really low - losing even one on makes the game extremely difficult from that point out. Combine that with ironman, and it makes for a game where one bad turn can completely ruin your entire run to that point.

I see a lot of complaints that the game is too easy, but I'm wondering if those players are playing on ironman + permadeath, because all it takes is one bad roll of the dice, regardless of the difficulty level, to ruin a game. I'll keep the ironman on, but permadeath is staying off, at least for now.

Indeed, you can lose a TP on the first turn just because of how the AI places enemies and basically encircles your crew who has no cover.

NGL I save/load quite a bit on the RPG portion of the game and I don't feel bad about it at all. There's not even a hint of what could/could not be the correct option. The glyphs are essentially flipping a coin, and the 3+ option questions are pure luck.

Well there are guides for both the options and the glyphs, here on steam, that spell out the results. So you can cheat those if you want.

There's also an in-game option that adds symbols to the event choices so you can better guess what each choice will affect (although it's still a bit of gamble if the Awakening, Initiative, or CP symbols indicate benefits or harm)
