Next time you're back aboard the Caestus Metallican between missions, try clicking Tech and see if there are any question marks left?

And that's a screen after I've beaten Boss - Vizier - no reward, no nothing, just blank postcard with no description even. This is really weird. If I had run on MAX difficulty setting, I would've been pissed, since every item counts, every bit of Blackstone (even thou, that miss loot cost me being short of 4 BS to get one more upgrade on tech priest, so it's NOT cool.

I know that development of this game has ended, but surely somebody from staff can respond to me if community don't know about this?
If they have time to add a language patch after that long time release then look from time to time on what're people asking/saying can't be much of a problem.
Sorry for the bad review I guess. Topic can be closed...
To explain, there are a bunch of weapons and subsystems that are rated Tier 1, 2, or 3. A Tier 2 version cannot show up as a loot drop if you don't have the Tier 1 version. Likewise, a Tier 3 version cannot show up as a drop if you don't already have the Tier 2 version.
What's weird is that mission rewards that offer a given item also remove that from the random drops list. So if a mission offers the Tier 1 Infestus Mechadendrite, you cannot get the Tier 1 Infestus Mechadendrite from any other source during that playthrough, ONLY by completing that mission. Further, if you put off doing that mission, you'll never be able to see the Tier 2 or Tier 3 versions show up, because that mission blocks them.
This wouldn't be that much of an issue, given that there are a ton of different weapons and such to unlock and spread around through the available loot drops, but missions tend to unlock too fast - faster than you can keep up with. This results in an extensive backlog of missions that you haven't completed yet, each of which is often taking 1 or 2 items (and often an upgrade and/or a Skitarii as well) out of the pool of available loot until the pool of available loot drops is completely empty. Once you've gotten to that point, completing a mission will allow the next tier of item to drop, but most of the time that next tier of item then gets locked in as a reward for the next mission.
So often for the second half of the game, the events and glyphs that give you a loot drop end up doing nothing (or giving Blackstone) because the available pool of loot drops is entirely empty, even though there's a bunch of stuff that hasn't been dropped yet. And since you can't get troops that way, and only certain mission rewards can have troop upgrades, it's actually impossible to get all items or all troops on a single run without hacking your save.
True, except that Quest rewards can also dry up. If you work toward manipulating the Awakening counter as much as possible, activating every event and glyph, and always taking the option for a loot drop when available, you can result in the Quest givers offering missions that give nothing but Blackstone toward the end of the game.
As Daedalus Cain has pointed out, by the mid-game you acquire a significant backlog of missions, about 3 per Magos, which can really tie down your tech progression.
At the start Glyphs are a super easy way to get blackstone and STC fragments as well as progress through a level quickly whilst keeping your awakening meter down (since early game combat is a challenge and you'll go through many combat rounds, each further adding to the meter), but eventually they're less useful because they only provide redundant bonuses like health (on an already full strike team) or cognition (on a full cognition gauge), etc. So i just go through farming the necrons for blackstone instead; plus in the late game it's easy to get 0% progression on a level by doing the combat missions.
Partly i think the DEV's are to blame for not developing a reward system that catered to a proper Role Play experience. The mission choices follow no pattern and since the results are locked in, so there's no motivation to avoid using a guide.
