SteamLibrary\SteamApps\Common\Mechanicus\OmnissiahEdition\Soundtrack
and with the Heretek DLC
SteamLibrary\SteamApps\Common\Mechanicus\HeretekPlus\Soundtrack
Agreed the soundtrack is one of my favorite parts of Mechanicus.
Sound track was done by Guillaume David
Then there's the drum'n'bass song Nordwand by Phace & Misanthrop. The first minute has a similar vibe as the Mechanicus trailer.
The Devil May Cry OST was performed by Combichrist and Noisia. Many of the parts done by Noisia have a similar dark electro atmosphere as Mechanicus. Here's the full playlist on Noisia's channel.
A true classic would be the Quake 3 Soundtrack. The soundtrack was done By Front Line Assembly and Sonic Mayhem. The Tracks by Front Line Assembly are closer to Mechanicus. If you can find a version of the soundtrack with the original file names: the ones by Front Line Assembly are called fla*
I can't mention the Quake 3 soundtrack without mentioning the Quake 1 soundtrack by Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails as well. This one is super dark and has no electro elements.
Also less electro, more metal, but also dark and heavy: the Dusk OST by Andrew Hulshult.
No electro, but dark ambient and melancholic with a bit of horror: the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. OST https://youtu.be/tQsWcPF1eyY
Very comprehensive; thank you kindly for all the effort.
Cryo Chamber - seems to have plenty of Dark Orchestra too; right up my alley. Subscribed.
DMC - I'll give the link a check; loved the older DMC soundtracks.
Quake & Quake 3 - the original was by far the best; I just wish it was longer.
Andrew Hulshult - first heard of him when I heard E1M1 being SHREDDED. Haven't heard his work on Dusk (or QC/DE for that matter) - but it can only be insane. I'll get up to date with it.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R - this OST is dear to me; I still play Anomaly ever so often - could and would never disappoint. The (apparently) unreleased (I can't confirm what this piece was intended for, but, stated as M2033R) track "Sparta Chant" hit very close to Guillaume's work on Mechanicus, albeit (understandably) slower, less techno and so on. If you don't know of it, I really hope you enjoy it as much as I do:

@KaiserZandrich: Thank you for the recommendation, I haven't heard this one before. I played Metro 2033 until the library level, unfortunately never finished it. I shouldn't have tried to go for the Ranger difficulty on my first playthrough.
Andrew Hulshult has become unstoppable at this point. If you go on a Hulshult binge, check out his work for Amid Evil and Prodeus as well.
I'll throw in some other songs and bands in as well. Some of them might hit the spot, some might be far off target. I'm more freely associating here than closely trying to find something that's very similar to Mechanicus.
A beautiful arrangement of ominous dark and sometimes industrial ambient music that includes chanting can be found in Painkiller's ambient songs. The songs "Atrium Complex Music 01" and "Factory Music 01" fit Mechanius well.

The song "Teignmouth Electron" from Tkivo's album "Strange Low". Deep mysterious droning bassy sounds with chanting. The other songs on this album are more towards Industrial Rock / Electro and could be compared to Front Line Assembly or NIN, sometimes even KoRn.

The album "Grimoire", also by Tkivo, is worth a listen as well, but this one can't really be compared to Mechanicus, it's just a related recommendation if you like their style

There is this Egypt inspired synthesizer album "Sun - Spirit of Cheops" from 1992 by Steve Schroyder. It's an incredible journey I can't recommend enough. It's dark, mysterious, euphoric, divine, with slow passages that sound like flying through space and others that really deliver a punch. It's best enjoyed from start to finish without skipping back and forth.
The video I have linked is just the first song on this album, not the entire album. It's confusing because the song has the same name as the album. The full album has three more songs. Here's the playlist

The album "Jagged" by Gary Numan. If you like his style, definitely check out his albums Dead Son Rising, Splinter and Savage. The ones before Jagged might be a bit too much 80's pop. His style became much darker over the decades.

Karmarama's "Projections of the Past" album. Psydub / Electronic / Industrial. Sounds like Quake 3 at times. The last song, "Timeless", fits Mechanicus.

"Tree of Eternity" on Amritone's "Mental Underground" album is pretty heavy. The album in general is interesting and has elements that are close to Psytrance, not so much in this song though.

Jumping from Amritone to Deepness Dawn's album "Bordersun" and my personal favourite "Highland Valley" on that album. Nice thick bass, beautiful melody, but I can't tie this to Mechanicus anymore, it's too far off, but an incredibly powerful song overall. The entire album reminds me of what Solar Fields[solarfields.com] does.

Heavier and darker again, DarkSynth and Industrial. "King Ghidorah Comes" from Deadly Avenger's album "I am Godzilla, you are Japan"
https://youtu.be/lPk7csh3yI0?t=1441
Project e.l.f.'s album of the same name, especially the song "dreamer. Super deep bass, dark and mysterious industrial atmosphere

The song "Lizard Tales" in Robert Elster's album "Endless Observations" somehow reminds me of Mechanicus' "Lost Civilization", athough it's much brighter and happier

Prodeus looks VERY promising, I've been meaning to pick it up on a sale.
Edit: I almost forgot to thank you again for all these recommendations - they're all insanely good!
Wow. Thanks for the effort. definitley saving Schroyder, Karmarama and Amritone, very interesting indeed. Since you seem to like dark ambience, let me recommend just one thing in return, its neither electro nor fitting Mechanicus though: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vJwWDO3IrMI
The video immediately reminded me of the Karma Police music video.
Absolutely love the jazzy undertones, feels like it'd be right at home in Silent Hill.

I bought their three (I think?) albums some time ago. They're obviously free to download, but I figured I'd give a little, their work is insanely good.
As for everyone who's participated in this thread; thank you so much for sharing all of this with myself and the Mechanicus community - I really appreciate it.
