Killing Agrolekh in tutorial

Just out of curiosity, for anyone else who slaughtered the giant windbag in the tutorial mission...

Is there any noticable effect from this, other than a very early unlock for the killing Agrolekh achievement?

Nope, I think not. Slaughtered that bastard good, was very happy with myself, but apart from early achievement, you get nothing. Or nothing noticeable at least.

Yes. It's just to get early achievment (and some complacency). I've checked, dialogue after you kill him doesn't change, Khepra still says you barely got alive. You also have to kill him the second time as a proper boss (he has slightly more HP, same armour, same map). The first kill doesn't count for unlocking a canticle either.

ok that sucks. Really should unlock something for killing him in the tutorial, canticle would of been nice.

Kite him with servitors. Place them one by one o his path. In case of emergency tuck into the one-wide gap to the left of the level.

You can kite with just one tech priest too. Try to take out as many warriors as you can, then you just use one tech priest with any weapon, stay out of reach, run and gather CP every turn, wait for the boss to come close enough for you to shoot him with the weapon opposite of his current armor type.

I killed him with one 7HP tech priest w/ a normal energy pistol after the warriors were gone and the boss had full HP :P
