who goes first?

has anyone got some info on how the game decides which priest goes first in a battle? since the person who starts and ends seems to change with every mission.

To my knowledge: who goes first is determined by a roll that we can not see or increase. But I know the roll only happens at the start of each mission and is constant throughout.

hmm, i always thought it was to do with their level but found it to still be really random. i kinda wish it was like that as it isn't nice having all my cp generators at the very end of a turn while my big hitters and buffers are right at the start, but unable to use stuff because of no cognition
