I have missed some upgrades as well, typicall level 3 rangers, slots for missions, and blackstone reduction for troops.
If the game is over is up to you, you can maybe find the few upgrades. Also you can create a save file and then do the final boss, and afterwords go back to the save file to get the rest of the upgrades.
I kept playing until I ran out of missions. The missing items did not drop. When a "tech drop" glyph appeared it gave nothing or sometimes +CP.
I guess there were some rooms I missed while playing earlier. It's VERY annoying to put so much time into a game and not see what the best support units were like at lvl 3.
I love this game, very well done, but there are some issues. Although I enjoyed the stories, the choices for rooms did not always make sense and it was frustrating that there was no game mechanic to reliably help me make a choice.
I'd have preferred a +/- option. Get an item for +3 time against you, or -4 time but everyone loses -4hp. Something like that for late game would have made exploring less a grind/annoying.
The balance is waaaay off in this game. It's just too easy. By the time you get lvl 3 units you really don't need them at all (I played on Hard).
I'd have preferred using support units in the early game and then only getting the 6x priest beasts at the end game. Would have made the experience way more fun and given the player different play styles as he progressed.
Overall a great game but some flaws keep it from being perfect.
I have never gotten the lv 3 skitarii ranger, kinda not happy about it but not a deal breaker.
Balance is this game is laughable if you know what to do. Hopefully the next dlc will change it.
