I mean the Dawn of War games are cannon, I don't see a reason why this game wouldn't be cannon, it has better writing for sure :D
I think the question should be not if this game is cannon, which it should be imo, but what ending is cannon and the only ending which fits the mechanicus and the Imperium of Man as a whole would be Videx ending, again not spoilering here, but the Emperor/Omnissiah would only appreciate one ending, which is Videxes.
Indeed undecided would fit very well too indeed :)
if anything this is more on giving you an idea on who/what mechanicus is and get to focus on them in this game. if already a fan of mechanicus or want to learn/see bit more on them then this is the go to game.
