Is this warsow?
Back in the days I was playing a lot of warsow (look it up). Had a ton of fun, but the community was very very small and after some time, it kinda died. Now, I randomly found this game. I looks like 100% warsow. Somebody got the same feeling?

Warsow died similar to Nexuiz, and Warfork is the project that is aiming to continue development, same as Xonotic, community continuation of Nexuiz. From my observation, almost all wsw playerbase also migrated here as well, barring bomb scene mostly, they've got their own fork.

I haven't played Nexuiz but this was like Xonotic?

Yes. You still can find the last 2.5.2 version online from sourceforge[sourceforge.net]

nexuiz and xonotic diverged a lot since their fork though. Nexuiz had some funky air control thing and xonotic kinda kept that but only in their forward/reverse movement, and implemented CPM-style physics. It's a lot different to actualy CPM physics but the player can opt-in for closer CPM-style physics, but you don't get the minor acceleration boost on forward movement after reaching top speed that you get in classic nexuiz.

Warsow's movement is basically almost pure cpm style with added vector-change/wallhop function but keeping the no-friction ramp slides effect from quake 2, but also interestingly removing the gravity aspect when ramp sliding.

Both xonotic and nexuiz have floating point movement speeds iirc so acceleration is smooth and there's no "acceleration zone" limitations like in actual quake 1/2/3 (which has integer speed optimisation from the old days when internet was very limited)
