Stealth Mechanics (Combat Initiation during Stealth)
Hey everyone,

another quick suggestion.

As far as I've progressed, I've gone further and further away from ever using the stealth mechanic that's in the game. At least for initiating fights. I feel like you're in a much worse position if you initiate a fight with stealth, when all it should do is give you an additional damage bonus - much like the headshots / attacks to the head-area.

From what I've gathered, every enemy I've encountered does not stagger, and instantly proceeds to do a 180° turn and hit you in the face so fast you're not able to protect yourself except for blocking, but when you attack them normally, after getting their attention, they will stagger, which gives you an opportunity to dodge the incoming attack.

My proposition here (for melee at least) is to either

a) Make a stealth attack have an additional damage bonus (basically count them as a head-shot, which will allow you to oneshot some lower-tier enemies with decent early/mid-game weaponry)

or

b) Guarantee that the enemy will fully stagger (Fall to the ground)

or

c) Give us an option to perform stealth kills. This could also be an option in the fighter / survival tree, as an additional skill.

hello, thank you for the suggestion. We had stealth kill in early builds , but they made the game too easy. The stealth attack will be rebalanced later.
