Its a single player indie game , do you think they will keep it alive for 10 years? its not liveservice and doesnt have any other means to make money besides the initial buy cost. The devs probably are working on another stuff rn

Very sad. All things considering, this is a pile of garbage. Same bugs from 2018 still exist today. Another developer and publisher I need to add to a list.

Wait you said Discord? The same Discord where developers create official servers for their own games? The same Discord where you get to talk to the actual developers?

This is, indeed, sad. This game has a lot of potential. Why would they just abandon it? If they fleshed it out they could easily make money off of DLC and expansions for it. The game has an interesting world, and interesting premise. It's a bummer.
