Still not quite solid 60, but better than it was.
Really hope the devs know about this, and plan to work on it.
After playing for about 3hrs + this issue seems to fix it's self, (eg fps becomes stable both in and out of menus).
But it take 3 hours of play time (with no load screens) before it does this lul.
I've tested this a few times now and it's seems like it's a replicable bug. Because my past 2 play sessions, each time after around 3 hours of playing, the fps suddenly becomes stable.
Maybe their is some issue with cache's associated with menus or overlays in game or something ? or issue with shader cache or something ?
Really hope the devs are aware of this, and are able to fix it. Anyway just some feedback :)
Ok so whenever I first load into the game all menus (inventory and such) will be laggy because the fps drops when in them.
All you have to do to fix this is just go to the "Perks" menu, then go back to the inventory menu. That's it lul. Now the fps will be fixed in the rest of the menus for you.
Not sure if being max level in the game now is what makes this trick work.
That's why the fps seemed like it was just randomly fixing it's self roughly every 3hrs, because I was probably going into the perks menu to level up at those times.
Also turning off 3d character model in UI also gives about 20fps boost in menus too, so if you're having this issue do that too.
So yeah sorry for spamming this thread, but just felt like had to post back with this update fix for this, just encase anyone else is having this issue.
Feels so smooth to use the inventory and other menu's now.
Actually it appears they may have fixed this, because i'm not seeing this issue anymore.
(For the record my fix was to go to the perks menus and stay in that menu for like 10 seconds, then exit, then go back into the inventory menu, and just keep doing combinations of that until it fixes itself. I checked, and cpu calls spike quite a bit the first time you go into the perks menu upon booting into the game. So my guess is something needs to load from that menu, and until you go into that menu, it will bog down all other in-game menus.)
