Co-op question

Is there any offline co op? I'd buy it if so, been looking for two player local coop horror games (aside from RE with their retarded splitscreen, ruins it.) And this one had co-op and online co-op listed in tags separately.

I've had several games that did that and ended up only being online. Just wondering before I blow $13 and gotta refund when I cant play with the gf.

Cant use search for forums if this was answered before. I'm on the phone app and won't have PC access for a day or so.
