[SPOILER] Where the f*ck is the Music Box?
Can't even complete the first quest because it seems to rely on a randomly generated item, unless I'm completely mistaken. Anyone?

not important move on and come back when you do have a music box

or keep searching the same boxes over and over every 5 minutes or so until you find one...either way you'll be waiting a while

All items like the music box are 'junk items'. It's a random loot drop from a container....not sure I have seen one drop from an enemy. It's best to just continue exploring and you'll find one when you least expect it.

Oh and as soon as you don't need one anymore you will find them everywhere :D

It's very RNG, honestly, because during my first game I didn't find it for awhile but my second game (because my first one crashed) I found it in the very first building by the shoreline that I searched. It's luck of the draw.

from memory the music box is for the workbench. which you can't use for anything early on anyway. it was probably intended for a time in developement where you needed a workbench to craft. now it's only needed for advanced crafting

You guys were right. The minute I decided to ignore it and move on to other quests, I began finding them left and right. The game made it seem like it would be some unique item and didn't make any sort of differentiation between the Music Box and say...a random loot drop, so I thought it would be in a specific spot. Guess not. That's kind of annoying. Later on ended up finding the Train Station Token thanks to a different post here on the forums. Only that one IS a unique item that can be easily, easily missed. We need to have a way to know that in the journal, otherwise we're gonna end up wasting a lot of time searching the ground and containers for no reason.

The thing that I can agree is that the token has to be somehow made more clear.
Since you find it next to a certain somebody it should say that the last person who held one disappeared there which would make it obvious that you have to find somebody to get it.

As for the music box, using your brain you could have figured it out earlier.
I'm eagerly waiting for you to attempt the radio station things.

I finished the radio station antennas, if that's what you were referring to. It was made easier once I cleared up what my expectations were supposed to be with the game.
