Disable Jumpscares?

Can we, please, have an option to disable the freaking jumpsacres?
The game seems great but I just don't deal well with those jumpscares...

I think they are actually part of the story so I'm not sure that is going to be an option.

then you probably need to move onto another game,its a survival horror game,why remove them? go play cabdy crush or something.no jumpscares there lol be a man,its a game enjoy it,its part of the experience :)

Erm. Who said that horror must be about jumpscares? It's the most cheap and low way to scare someone. Directors and devs that respect consumers - add it beyond minimum.

If you dont like them then why did you buy it? Man up, they're not even that bad. Dont want the game give it to me. Been watching vids and its like a a new Stalker game but in a different past. I love it.

u dont need jumpscares in survival horror games...you just need mannequins that turns in your direction if you went your back to them is enough to get freaked out tbh

While i agree jumpscare should stay, these comments are so freaking idiotic.
Jumpscare are not scary, they're just cheap.

Where did the Jumpscares go off btw? I played a while now and i did only see one at the Rails near the first Area where u started...and im already close to the safe house
