I preferred the strategy game to an mmorpg-like where you have to program your party members actions, though do like the increased character customisation.

Still when its a free expansion there's hardly much to complain about, thanks for the continued work you are putting in.

What an interesting move. Ive been wanting to pick it back up as well as play it on my channel, so I think I will when this comes out
Was waiting for this yet now I am less than keen, RPG Tactical games like the original game are rare, and while RPG alone feel like a dime a dozen. I may touch it because its free, but will probably go back and dump more hours into the original game which I wish their was more to the classes.

Looks interesting. I look forward to trying it. I am not a MMORPG online player, so hope it will still have a single player component. I prefer tactical to RT, but we shall see and only judge after its release. Keep up the good work!

Well this is an interesting development for sure, basically now we'll get two different games in one, also yea like Drago Duval mentioned I noted quickly this looked heavily based on the FFXII system, both the fact you are expected to 'program' your characters as well as the RPG system, its not a bad idea for sure, it will give significant more life expectancy to the game for sure.

Also I really appreciate the fact the Devs didn't do like most Devs and turned this into a new separate game to be bought, which they would have been completely entitled with, many Devs would have considered effectively making an entirely different system albeit with the same graphics to be worth it.

Now the fact this new expansion is taking significant mechanics out of FFXII might have caused a bit of fuss if it was a paid product, I don't know for sure, might be why the Devs went the way they did, they might have been weary of that possibility as well, but anyhow I do appreciate this alot for sure.

I have returned with better modeling skills and unreal engine experience. I believe porting this to UE4 will not be such a herculean task and want to join the team.

Seriously people need to chill with the term 'entitled' I know that the right wingers abused the ♥♥♥♥ out of that term and made it a derogatory term, but its still a word in the English Dictionary that mean something else than an insult. In this case I am applying it as meaning the Devs fully had the right to make a new game out of this and would have been perfectly justified in doing so.

The name itself - "Septaroad Voyager" sounds oddly similar in format to "Octopath Traveler" - the name of a JRPG by Square Enix.
I wonder if there's any correlation here. :sans:

This is surprising to say the least, but having this additional content is amazing. I wish you guys all the best with this expansion, and any games you work on in the future! I also look forward to being able to support your further efforts!
I'm really excited for when this becomes playable, because it looks really interesting! But for now, if you want to try it out, beware: it's barely a tech demo - falling through the world every 5-10 minutes forcing you to start over and extremely unruly combat controls as you don't have any starting tactics. But it seems like the kind of game I'd love to play if I could, so I'm really interested in seeing you guys keep working on it.

Can you tell me where you're falling through the world? That shouldn't be happening and I haven't come across that issue in my own testing. I'm still trying to find out why some people have their characters fall through the world on game load. For now if your character falls out of the world, you can return to the start with the console command "ce ReturnToStart"

I'm glad to hear that you're interested in the game though. Hopefully we'll have it finished very soon.
