how do i get momentum mod key???

Hello!

Currently keys are given out in the following priority structure:

1. Contributors to the project (code [for game, website, etc], assets, documentation, maps)
2. Mappers of any supported gamemode (need portfolio / proof!)
3. Streamers (consistent/regular streaming of the game and its pre-1.0.0 updates to a sizeable audience)
4. Gamemode scientists (proficient in the upcoming and newly-supported gamemodes, enough to the point to be able to give in-depth, active feedback as we develop them)
5. Experienced game QA / testers (with proof!)

Since they published that it was possible to register, which was months ago, I had registered at that very moment, even so I still have not received the key to try this great mod.

I know quite a few people that signed up for a key a month ago and got it..
I have been waiting 5 months if not longer and nothing. At this rate I reckon it's most likely random.

Indeed, playtests are entirely random, according to Steamworks documentation.

i also think steam is using an algorythm for the rollout and prefers new entrys, since the instantregistered people are more likely to wait for the game. only steam knows if it is rng :X
but funny to see that i am not the only one thinking this way, i even made a thread out of curiosity and got answered that Steam is using rng and that it wouldnt make sense to rollout for new players but not for long registered ppl. guess we have to accept that and play waitingsimulator

I found this strange too. I found out about the mod and told 3 of my friends to sign up after me and all 3 of them got keys the very next giveaway and I did not. I've been waiting for a key for 5 months now.

Apologies on the discrepancy, we asked Valve about the drops and they assured us that it's completely random. I'm hoping the increase in daily drops at 0.10.0 to 100 a day will help reduce the wait times. We really appreciate everyone's patience, the game will only be better by the time everyone gets in!
