So I’ll say: go for it and enjoy the robo-smashing festival in the language of your convenience. Even if it sounds “bad”, you can just pretend it’s “extra immersive” ;)
But, during the final battle, you won't have time to read. They attack you very fast and you have only a split second to react, so you'll will miss a lot of good character character development and revelation if you're reading (unless you pause the game or record the screen).
If you want, you can play with subtitles for most of the game, and just switch to English audio for the boss battles.
I started with Russia VO, but 3-4 hours in, switched to English. English is slightly annoying, but I guess you get used to it eventually.
