How the f do you beat that bunch of balls robot?

I've been through it several times and it kills me every time. What's the secret to getting through that fight?

Seriously, you shoot the arms then kill the BEADS that drop off. How is that difficult to understand? They freaking Glow my dude.

And time your dodges better.

Upgrading your shield and spamming the alternative fire of the new weapon makes the fight very easy. Do not forget to use the ceiling lamps as well.

Stand under the ceiling lamp, wait for it to approach, activate shield. While it's pummeling your shield, shoot the ceiling lamp above. Repeat this process a few times and you're good.
