Issues with the dlc! (SPOILERS)

I enjoyed the dlc no matter the critics' reviews. I mean they bashed the main game as well, yet I see very positive rating by the consumers who actually enjoyed the game and what really matters.
But the dlc has some big problems.

1. Checkpoints were very bad in the dlc. The game saved when I was getting my ♥♥♥♥ kicked out in the first area as I didn't have my glove and no weapons, just a shovel. So every time I spawned, I had 1 health because of Nora's kiss perk and immediately die as I was stuck between a pole and the dummies! This happened twice. Once in the starting area, then during the first Bea-D hunting in the intro area.
2. Getting gangbanged by the balls. They are a$$h0les. They will corner you and get you stuck and will laser the ♥♥♥♥ out of you. Also keep staggering you into oblivion by rolling into you.
3. Once you disassemble a weapon, you cannot get it back. You cannot craft it again. I know its obvious since there was no crafting tab in the menu but the main game gave you an option to dissemble to upgrade another weapon and re-craft the weapon again when you had the materials. It was missing in this dlc.
4. Difficulty. I mean annihilation difficulty is not a joke, especially when the enemies are balls and dummies. I almost rage quit.
5. Also, the last puzzle was just tedious and boring.
6. The swamp literally tanks the performance to oblivion. I have a high-end setup yet I had to tinker with my settings to get 60 fps in the swamp area. The main game runs smoothly but the dlc feels untested and unoptimised.

I'll give it a 7/10. It was good and I enjoyed it very much but could've been even better.

I wish I read this before I bought the DLC. You're the second person I've heard that has the issue of not being able to craft weapons. Is it a bug? I disassembled my weapons and I had to lose an hour or so of progress.

I also have another bug with subtitles being wrong. Reinstalling and reverifying the files don't fix it. I'm enjoying the game, but I'd have a much better time without these issues. I'm using my freaking phone to translate all the Russian text from the computers.

DLC was enjoyable. Little bit of exploring. Not too linear. At times it was challenging on medium difficulty. Nothing unfair. Good combined use of abilities, dodge and weapons made me overcome all enemy encounters eventually. Couple of times I died on those closed arenas, where enemies pour in by the dozens and wasn't anticipating them. Bullet time was neat. Shield still the best. Must against boss fights. Best strat for me against ball gangbangs were combination of shield and bullet time with the new melee weapon. it was a beast when you got it kitted out. Also there was that new consumable that nukes all enemies in its radius. Very good if big hordes give you a hard time in some of the small arenas. Never used it because common habit to hold on powerful items and never use them. Puzzles were fun and challenging. Didn't have issue about disassemble your weapons and not crafting them back. I think this was a move by devs to shift some of the decision making back to players. Like you make a decision and you have to live with the consequences. Or they forgot to disable the disassemble ability to weapons. Anyway, I didn't have any real issue with this because game gave me plentifully crafting materials and I could in a pinch disassemble ammo and health items if I didn't have patience to wait little bit longer to get enough for the next upgrade. I managed to fully upgrade the 2 new weapons and the shotgun at the 3/4 mark. Didn't have any game breaking bugs. Well, there was one noticeable bug in final boss battle. HUD didn't show its health bar the first time but it fixed it self when i died. I would give this DLC 7/10. Could have needed more enemy variety. Gets very tiring to fight balls and dummies whole time.
