New Game + max difficulty by default
Why would you do that? I wanted to go through the game once again, after all these updates, I wanted to see what changed, what I missed, try to understand the story, enjoy the environment with all my previous unlocks and power character that will make it a "tell me story" game.

Why would you block new game + behind max difficulty, this makes no sense. Please allow us to enjoy the game for what it is: art.

I found this decision weird as well but a maxed out Zvezdochka with saw dance still wrecked everything. The only annoying enemy buff type was the bulletproof one on flying enemies sometimes.

Anyway, these modifiers feel out of place and the auras give away the ambush enemies that pretend to be dead. LoL
Can i somehow change, please, i want to play new game + without hardest difficulty...

It's actually becoming more common that some games make NG+ hard to play in some way to account for getting all your weapons, skills, and upgrades handed to you at the start. Some even make it harder than the hardest non NG+ modes. This has been going on for some time, as popular games like Batman Arkham City did it way back in 2011.

I personally don't feel the game is as hard as many say. Even with a fresh start, Armageddon is completely doable if you just use some careful planning with your skill purchases, weapons, and tactics. If a 66 yr old like me with diminished reflexes, dexterity, and eyesight can beat bosses like Dewdrop and the twins with a fresh start on Armageddon (1st try Dewdrop, 3rd try Twins), I reckon most can do it.

Yeah that was a STUPID idea. Made replayability completely obsolete. It's literally not replayable unless you ALREADY played at max difficulty. This studio and their choices is making me regret this purchase....

Hey, I actually found an option to change difficulty in the settings during gameplay including new game +. As far as I can tell, you can't switch off the unique traits that enemies get, though. I also found an option to autocomplete puzzles, but I'm guessing this only applies to things like door and laser puzzles.

When I thought I was having a door lock bug, I tried it. It only works on door locks, not the laser puzzles. It also won't get you through locks that require finding a "cookie" key.
