The only thing feeling genuinely strong is melee but even among that it's the sawblade stick.
Related question though. Is there any way to get more RECHARGING energy cells? I see that I can add more to my character, but the damn things don't recharge without using items to do so, which makes this a lot crapper than it should be.
It seems to me that only three energy cells (the ones you started with) recharge over time. The others remain empty unless you use consumables.
Same thing happens in Deus Ex 3 and it's stupid.
Get the polymer goo and fully upgraded shield. If you drop down some goo and fill it with electricity, activate the shield, then stand in it, it will recharge those other energy cells. I think this is the only way to charge them without any consumables since your glove abilities are on just cooldowns.
the 4th and 5th bar require the passive regen perk to fill on their own. but even with the passive regen, energy regen is slow as hell. You want the regen on melee hit in energy management. If you want to use energy weapons, that perk is mandatory. That perk is located in energy management. There is also a regen perk in mass telekinesis, that regens your energy every time you use the power, but I find that one not too be that great.
