I completed the game and think I got a bad ending, the twins do a ball of energy and I electric shocked it, game proceeds with Charles killing the boss guy and I end up in the dream thing. Can the fight go a different way at the end?

As for your topic question:
Crispy critters is a term to describe someone who has been severely burned. One of the medical personnell referred to P-3 and his wife as "crispy critters" when he saw the state they were in after the terrorist attack in Bulgaria. It "imprinted" on P-3's subconscious and he started often using it in his speech.

No, you can't change the outcome of this fight. Charles(a.k.a. Chariton Zakharov) will kills Sechenov anyway if you choose to fight against your boss. There's also another ending, in which you bail on everybody and on every thing and Nechaev decides to go on the "vacation". And that's all. There's only two endings in this game(at least for now).
By the way, in the original Russian version of the game, Nechaev, instead of "Crispy Critters" says "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Pies".
