Autosaving is sparse because save rooms aren't.
My point here is that it's highly unlikely you're losing enough progress to be complaining about it.
that one climbing part in testing ground 8 really is the worst offender ive encountered so far. since thats the first climbing part where you can die at several parts if you dont do exactly what you are supposed to do and you have to kinda guess what that right path is, i died a good amount there. i was tilted after a while there. it really seems like no one bothered to playtest this part.
so far theres exactly 3 things that frustrate me about this game.
1) the platforming in general
2) the climbing. its slow, uninteresting and sometimes the character just doesnt do what hes supposed to even if he stretches out his arm. imo the game would be better without the climbing.
3) getting stuck on random rocks or those weird atom shaped platform holders. it seems to me like the designers of the map geometry and the character- controller programmers never even talked to each other during development. its like they had a completely different game in mind.
