install the redustructable c++ visuals from techpowerup. (i wrote the microsoft support) i hope it works. i'm trying 2 fix it

I just right now finished chatting with microsoft support, we took hours trying to solve this she did everything she could think of, she even remotely tried to help me but to no avail. Do you have smart app control in windows settings turn on. because i think that's the problem. it says that it blocked part of this app which is this game, and then i get the 11c7 error. Do you have it on. i don't want to turn it off since its a good security function.

yes i have the app on and i let it on! this is important i wrote mundfish then i know thats a issue from game itself. i do interact often with ms support. they can't help^^ it is an API's that mundfish have to fix it. i wrote them a message with the bug.

it makes no sense to deactivate the smart control app because it protects against really dangerous attacks these days! a manufacturer like mundfish has to see that! the fault lies with them. they have to certify and verify that and then it works. I suspect there is more to it than that. but I do not care! unfortunately there is a lawsuit if necessary! I know something and I know why this "bug" exists. Of course you also try to read the system to eliminate other weak points. however we don't have them as we use smart control app! i have tested windows systems several times and i will NEVER AGAIN run any dll without smart control app! China has that, among other things. heavily messed up with their espionage. But that is another issue. after all, other app-based software works too! no matter if nzxt, msi, zotac, call of duty, nvidia etc. pp. MUNDFISH MUST FIX OR I WILL GET MONEY! :) as simple as that!

Yeah, I contacted the publisher they told me to allow it, thinking that it's the controlled folder. But I explained that it's the Smart app control that is blocking it and I can't allow apps through that. So I think what happens is that when Smart control app see that the atomic heart.exe is not verified from the to be the devs real app, I guess. That the .exe is not accurately digitally certified. And when it blocks that then it's missing files so we get an error or sometimehing like that. Damn tho I actually got game pass for pc, I thought maybe it's just steam messing up but no. Same thing but I didn't get the 11c7 error only that the launher has crashed. So that just makes me even more confident that it is just the Smart app control. Plus I get the notification that part of the app atomic heart, exe is blocked. So it has to be that. I game the publisher all this info from Microsoft website about specifically the Smart app control and the part about untrusted apps and the certificate part. Sorry if this was to much to read. I really stayed up all night try to solve this. Hope they will fix it.

exactly. nah i got my key from mmoga and cancel the purchase. the support handle it very easy. and you've got right! exactly, that is the problem. But I will definitely not deactivate the Smart control app because of this. Mundfish is unlucky and I get my money back and get it through the Xbox Gamepass. So easy. You can play it with that. all the best to you nice that we wrote about it. Unfortunately annoying how little attention this thread has here. I believe that slowly only a few have a secure pc system at home. Or unfortunately no idea.
