Can't enter car to progress game

Bought the basic version earlier this week and just finished downloading the game. I've been playing through the intro, but when I get to the car to fly out of the city I'm blocked by a message saying 'available in the full version of the game.' Any idea whats causing this? My friend who preordered the deluxe version got through fine.

Open your gamepass app, go to your library then unpause the download of the game, when it's done, just restart the game

I have the same in German: "In der Vollversion des Spiels verfügbar". I have the game on Xbox Game Pass btw.

EDIT: After closing and restarting my Xbox App I can now get into the car.

this is happening to me on ps4 just bought it restarted ps4 reinstalled game nothings working

If you still have this, restart your PC, and open Gamepass again. It should update the game.

Game is probably still installing in the background. I started playing on xbox (gamepass) and when I installed it on PC I couldn’t load my savegame because it was still indtalling in the background

Same Problem here with xbox game pass. After a Pc restart it wants now another 10gb download-.-

try reloading your game through your most recent save. If not, try verifying the integrity of your cache.

If you are having problems on gamepass ... then go ask over there ... if you can't ... now you know why steam is the superior platform

I like how noone reads anyone’s comments anymore. The game isn’t fully installed yet. A preliminary install lets you play the opening sequence. The car section moves you to the full game, which hadn’t been installed yet… hence the “full game” message.
