steam version over gamepass?

gamepass version has a smaller install size. I'm not sure otherwise.

Well the Steam version releases earlier. Gamepass is a midnight release

You can play gampass right now and the gamepass version is the default version that's just the base game and the gamepass version is now updated

gamepass versions lacks some features like RT. It's a different build. Hope this will be fixed. ATM, best version is on Steam.

It launched with a older biuld it's now updated to the newest version

Basically nothing. On Steam you buy a game and you own it, you know, for life. Gamepass you only have access to it until you pay for subscription.

Difference is you can try the game for $1 on gamepass, plus you can literally play it right now. Had it pre loaded yesterday, and played it for a couple hours today

Steam releases at 6pm for me(EST), but Gamepass for PC is a midnight release regardless of timezone.

Not sure how things are now, but years ago when I tested gamepass you couldn't mod gp games. Since this game is lacking an FOV slider modding might me a must (it runs on UE4 so it should be easy enough to mod FOV)
